Transferring to NEC

• Community College Transfer Agreements

  We have transfer agreements with any community college in New England.

• Credit Evaluation

  We understand the complexity and importance of the transfer process and work to make the transition as seamless as possible. All courses completed at an accredited post-secondary institution with a grade 鈥淐-鈥渙r higher聽are considered transferable to 含羞草视频. Exceptions may be made for students who have completed an Associate Degree, allowing up to 16 credits of grades recorded as a 鈥淒鈥� to be transferred.

  How many credits can be transferred in? Students may transfer a maximum of 90 credits. Please visit the Transfer Policies and Credit Evaluation info sheet聽for more information.

  How do transfer students register for classes? Our Pathways Center staff assists students in selecting classes based on transfer credit evaluation and student goals

  Do transfer students have an academic advisor? Yes! All students are assigned an academic advisor (based on your major) to support your academic success, as well as a faculty advisor from your major.

  Where do transfer students live? Transfer students are granted upperclassmen privileges for residence hall options that include doubles, suites, or small houses (typically single rooms in the small houses). Incoming students with 60 or more transfer credits may live off campus.

  May transfer students play sports? Yes! Eligibility is based on NCAA standards and determined by the coach. Learn more about athletics at NEC and contact our coaches here.
